NCAAF Week 6: Best Bets and Leans

Gambling Opinion by Ethan Irish and Josh Blatt
Game: Missouri @ Florida
Ethan's Best Bet: Florida -10.5 (-115) (Fanduel)
I like this spot here for Florida mainly because of Missouri's last game against the Georgia Bulldogs. A game in which they almost pulled off one of the craziest upsets in the modern college football playoff era. This game has a let down game feel for the Tigers, who have a bottom tier passing offense in the country ranking 108th, averaging only 183.5 pass yards per game. This game is mostly just a situational play for me though, the Tigers were so close to miracle Florida might just wipe the floor with them.
On the other side, the Gators are looking for their first conference win of the season after losing to two top 25 ranked teams in Tennessee and Kentucky. Missouri is the best team they could be playing for the situation they are in right now. I think it will come down to the run game for Florida which is not that bad at 24th in the country in rush yards per game averaging 195.3. If they can get a ground game going early against a solid defensive front that Missouri has that will open up the passing game allowing the Gators to put up big numbers.
Ethan's Other Leans:
UNLV @ San Jose State: San Jose State -6.5 (-110) (Fanduel)
#17 TCU @ #19 Kansas: TCU -6.5 (-110) (BetMGM)

Game: #8 Tennessee @ #25 LSU
Josh's Best Bet: Tennessee -2.5 (-120) (Fanduel)
Hendon Hooker is legit and so are the rest of the Tennesse Volunteers— plain and simple, they’re better than LSU. I see this game as somewhat easy victory for Tennessee, and if they manage to have a close game— I see Tennessee pulling it out by at least three points. LSU ranks in the top 20 of yards allowed per game, which does slightly worry me. However with Tennessee’s high powered offense (that has yet to lose, or win by less than five points) will most likely be too much for the Tigers to deal with this Saturday.
Tennessee has been blowing everybody not named the Florida Gators out this season due to the play of Anthony Richardson in that game. I’m on the Volunteers bandwagon, even though Ethan and I had debates before the season on who will be the better team, Tennessee or Ole Miss? While I was on the Ole Miss side and Ethan was defending Tennessee, they are ranked #8 and #9 respectively— but I’m all in on the school down in Knoxville.

Purdue @ Maryland: Maryland -3.5 (-104)
#12 Utah @ #18 UCLA: UCLA +3.5 (-115)
#16 BYU @ Notre Dame: BYU +3.5 (-108)
